When it comes to our own surroundings, choosing the right colors is very important.  Color can have a big impact on our daily lives and influence how we feel every day.  It's a proven fact, colors have a major psychological effect on our moods. We'll help you sort it out and select the colors that are just right for you, that will work perfectly in your space.  To learn more about the meaning of colors, see our color analysis page.  Color consultations are done on an hourly basis, and payment is due at the time of service. 

Interior:

We'll listen carefully to your requests regarding color, and guide you through the process of choosing the colors that will be not only to your liking, but also perfect for your personal style and the architecture of your home or office.  We'll help you choose a starting point or inspiration piece and work from there.  It can be a piece of artwork, fabric, or even a book cover or a page from a magazine.  We'll make sure the wall colors, trim colors, and ceiling colors work together to create a harmonious atmosphere with your own belongings.

Exterior:

Our exterior consultations are conducted in a similar way.  We take into account your own tastes, as well as the architecture of your home or office.  We also consider the colors of surrounding homes or buildings, and the colors of the landscaping, and the hard surface materials that are part of the surroundings.  The exterior color scheme should be appropriate for the style of architecture, and should harmonize with the trees, shrubs, and flowers.

Digital imaging:

We are pleased to now offer digital imaging for exterior color consultations.  This process allows us to take a photograph of your home and apply different colors in layers, so that you can see proposed color schemes before the paint goes on.  This even enables color consultations without ever visiting the site.  The client can simply email photos to us and the enhanced photos with new color scheme choices can be emailed back, including an itemized detail of the colors used for each color scheme. 

A deposit is required for this service.  There is an hourly fee for the initial layout and mapping, and a charge of $10 for each color scheme requested.
